Most client application are PCs which use a browser to connect to the system. However, you may also need a more specialised client to enter or view application data.
Mobile devices
We have used a combination of J2ME and vendor specific mobile device platforms, like the Blackberry MDS development platform, to develop mobile device applications
One use for this is to keep salesmen informed of the latest products and client with uploads to their blackberries and also allow them to place orders remotely onto the system using web enabled services.
Manufacturing and tooling
Some tool and test centers in manufacturing have a number of interfaces that connect via rs232/Cat5 and USB. We can supply software which will read these devices and decode the data into a database or another system.
